It's late

I was on time for work today, yay!

Had the first of the journaling programs and it was a success, three kids. Yay!

Discovered that the recycling place I contacted about the old TV would want about $70 for a pickup. No. Taking it to a recycling place in College Point on Saturday with the help of mashfanficchick and zer mother.

Speaking of whom, we met at 20th Ave and came to my place and did all the recycling and garbage, then went to zer place and worked there for a few hours. Had dinner from Jersey Mike's. Yum.

Came home, Skyped the FWiB very briefly.

Bed now.

Had a good day at work

Made it on time despite oversleeping. Did an adult program, Beyond Crayons, to help out the adult librarian. That was fun.

During lunch I had to call Barnes and Noble about my download of the new Mercedes Lackey, because I got an email saying that there was a problem with my payment. I'm still not sure what happened, but I think that it's because I preordered it so long ago my card had changed since then and the card they had to pay for it wasn't the current one. I think that's what happened. Anyway, I got it fixed and I should be downloading it tonight as soon as I finish here.

After lunch I did the Beyond Crayons , and then a half hour later, my own YA program, the Teen Lounge, and I got 11 kids!! So that worked out very well.

Came home and called Oldest Brother, who had been out of his room all day. Then I Skyped the FWiB, and then I had my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. That was small but good.

Had dinner, including the Carvel from the last time we went there. Then called Oldest Brother again, and then the Kid.

The turtle is back to not eating again. I'm going to have to take her back to the vet if she doesn't start, but not before Christmas, there's just no time or money right now.
