Blood tests

Started the day by oversleeping so I was seven minutes late to my Al-anon meeting. But the meeting was a good one so I'm glad I was there (it was by Zoom of course, not in the park). Then mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up and we went to my blood tests.

I was a minute (literally) late because of traffic due to the Lunar New Year parade in Flushing, so I had to be taken as a walk-in, but I didn't have to wait too long. They took my blood and a urine sample. and it was all over.

Then we went to Gotta Getta Bagel for food and coffee. Then we went to Below Five for some stuff. That's a really fun store, I had never been before but I was charmed. After that we did some food shopping, and then went to zer place.

I called Oldest Brother three times as usual, and I called the Kid. All is well.

We hung out, and had dinner, and had fun.

Then they brought me back, and here I am.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB, didn't get to Skype but emailed.

2. Friends.

3. Got my blood tests successfully.

4. My meetings and the people there.

5. My cat.

6. The turtle continues to eat well.

Edited to add: Forgot to say, last night after I wrote in here I got invited out for coffee with <lj user="mashfanficchick" and zer mother. We went to a 7-11, and had a good time. Then home and bed.

Day out, evening in

Slept late after getting to bed late last night. Then got up and had breakfast and showered and dressed. mashfanficchick and zer mother got here and ze came in and we changed the dead lightbulb in my kitchen.

Then we went out and went to Stop and Shop where I got grocery store sushi for lunch. Then we went to Target, and did some some shopping.

After that we went to Rite Aid and I got my prescriptions filled. Then we went to Auto Zone for a new windshield wiper for the car.

Finally we went to Home Depot and I got a mini glue gun. Then we were going to have coffee at Dunkin' Donuts but things got messy at the store and we didn't.

So they took me home and I Skyped the FWiB. Then I had dinner and called Middle Brother, who is doing fine. Then I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and the Kid. The Kid didn't pick up, but she called me just now and we've been talking. All is well with her too.

And now I'm going to finish here and then I think I'll use the Command strips I have to hang the unicorn hex symbols I have no my bedroom door, which is something I've been meaning to do for some time.
