Birthday weekend
Mar. 25th, 2023 10:26 pmMy birthday is tomorrow, so I made sure I would be free today. I slept til 10 and then got up and had breakfast and coffee and went to my Al-anon meeting by Zoom.
Then I Skyped the FWiB for a short time until the Starsky and Hutch chat. It was a special one for Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky)'s 80th birthday today. Had a lovely time, stayed till the very end which was after 7:00.
After that I called Oldest Brother for the second time. John Ivon called him today which was very nice. Then I made some of the taquitos that![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick gave me because ze got the wrong ones, that weren't gluten free. They were tasty. I also had one of my little things of guacamole, and that was dinner, with a cup of decaf.
Then I cleaned the turtle tank and filter, and put in fresh water. That's was very tiring, but needed to get done. She seems much happier.
I called the Kid but she didn't answer, so I called Oldest Brother for the third time. After that the Kid called back and we talked for awhile, until I got off and Skyped the FWiB again.
After that, I fed the pets, and had some Irish soda bread, and started writing in here.
So that was the start of my birthday weekend. Very successful so far.
