Happy birthday to me

I have had a very good birthday! Started by sleeping latish, then getting up and having breakfast and coffee, showering and dressing, and being picked up by mashfanficchickand zer mother.

We went out to Brooklyn to the Kid's coffee shop, to see her and the shop. We stayed there several hours. The Kid gave me a lovely card with a note, and a Barnes and Noble egift card. mashfanficchick gave me the necklace I picked out that ze bought for me. I had two maple lattes and a Nutella croissant. Dani called while we were there and wished me happy birthday.

After we stayed awhile, we went out to Long Island to the big Barnes and Noble store, and we hung out there for several hours until they closed. I didn't use the egift card; that I saved for my Nook, but I did buy two books. One was something for Oldest Brother's birthday which is coming up. (I did call him while we were there, for the second time) The other was, amazingly enough, an Agatha Christie mystery that I either have never read, or that I read and have absolutely no memory of. Amazing! A new-to-me Agatha Christie!!!

While I was there I texted J to say hello, and see how she was and she wished me happy birthday too.

After the Barnes and noble closed, we went to Noodles & Co for dinner, paid for by mashfanficchick. Delicious! I called middle Brother then too, he is fine. Called Oldest brother again too.

Then they brought me home, and I had just gotten in and put stuff away when my phone rang and it was John and Denise singing me Happy Borthday, SO we had a nice conversation, and that was very good. Then I Skyped the FWiB and we talked for a good while.

Then I loaded the egift card to my Nook, and to finish up my birthday right, I had my extra sundae from Wednesday. Yummy.

And now it's time for bed.
