It isn't really appropriate to say "Happy" Memorial Day, is it? I know people do say that, but it isn't what the day is about. Not quite sure what to say instead, though.
Well anyway, my Pathfinder rule book was delivered this morning, and I read a little in it. Got up around 10:30 and called Oldest brother and then![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick about plans for the day. They arranged to pick me up at 1, so I had plenty of time to get showered and dressed and have breakfast and coffee.
We started with lunch and grocery shopping. I had supermarket sushi, not bad, not great. Then we ran numerous errands, and went to various stores, including going through zer mother's attic looking for stuff. Ze loaned me a suitcase for the Amsterdam trip, I have the Kid's rose suitcase for carry on, now this borrowed one for checked.
I called Oldest Brother for the second and third times, and the Kid called me.
Eventually we got Thai food for dinner, and ate, and they brought me back home. My Earthsea book was delivered today also. I have to open it tonight! I am a little disturbed, no, a lot disturbed, by deliveries on Memorial Day.
I Skyped the FWiB for a bit. That was nice.
Now it's time for bed!
