The pets are OK.

Woke up, called Oldest Brother from bed, he didn't answer again, so I got worried and called nursing to check on him. He was being changed, so I called back later and spoke to him. He's talking better, though still not as good as he was before he got the UTI.

I ate breakfast and had coffee, and while I was puttering on the computer I saw a strange animal in front of the cottage. It crossed the road and walked off behind a tree. As far as i can tell it was a fisher cat! Which is a relative of the weasel, mink, otter, etc. So cool!

Later I took a walk in the playground and I saw and caught a toad! First I've seen up here in a few years, when there used to be so many. I released it behind the cottage to catch mosquitos.

Then I went and visited Linda and Alan. After I stayed awhile, I figured I should move on so I left and went to the beach, but it was pretty chilly and wavy so I didn't stay. Instead I went up and dropped in on Sue. Hung out and visited her for awhile, and then came back here.

Called Oldest Brother again, ate lunch, and then Skyped the FWiB. We talked for about an hour, and then I went and read in the living room.

Sue came by and asked if I wanted to drop in on Linda and Alan with her, so I did that.

While we were talking I got a text from mashfanficchick that ze had checked on the pets and they were OK, and that she hadn't been able to get me through the phone but I should call her.

I stayed for awhile longer, but when Sue left I did too. Called mashfanficchick and ze filled me in. All is pretty much OK, but Christie's light isn't working.

I had dinner, and ice cream, and called Oldest Brother for the third time. And started writing here.
