Tree decorating

After being up so late last night I slept very late today. Then I got up and ate breakfast and had coffee, and then I cleaned the turtle tank. I did a pretty good job, and I finally put in the new filter.

Then I cleaned the cat pan, too. And then I got the Christmas tree out from behind the TV where I store it, and the three boxes of Christmas decorations, and I set up the tree ready to decorate.

At 3:00 mashfanficchick came over and we decorated the tree. It looks really nice. We also put up the star lights and the lights over the living room arch. I put up a few of my other Christmas decorations., but I don't think I'll bother with everything. Only Middle Brother will be here for Christmas as we're having Christmas Eve with the Kid.

Then I took a shower and dressed, and at 6:30, Elissa picked us up and we went out to Roosevelt Field. We did a goodly amount of stuff, then went and ate at Noodles and Co. I called Middle Brother from Roosevelt Field.

Then we went to Target, where I got a few things.

And then back here.

There is no new news about Oldest Brother. The social worker at the hospital called me, that's all.

Except I was late. Bummer.

Read at the nursing home we read at, with Mr. T. Got some good news about Oldest Brother, he is off the ventilator and only has oxygen through a nasal cannula. He's also off the heavy blood pressure meds. I called the kid and mashfanficchick to tell them. Also Facebook-messaged Linda and put it on facebook which Laurie saw and texted me.

After work I met up with mashfanficchick and zer mother and we went to Outback for dinner. Then we went to target, and to the grocery store.

I started making a list by text for the Kid for Christmas Eve shopping.

Came home and Skyped the FWiB.

2. Oldest Brother is doing better.

3. Did a STEAM program with the 3D printer and got four kids.

4. Got peppermint candy canes.

5. Bed soon.
