Happy New Year!

Slept very late today after being up til 3 or so. We all got up and went out to Target and then to a late lunch/early dinner of Mongolian hot pot which was a lot of fun and delicious.

Then we came back here and put out the first of the food. Eating and talking went on for hours, until just before midnight, when we put on New Year's Eve tiaras, took noise makers and party poppers, and put on the TV for the countdown.

At midnight we set off the poppers, blew noise makers, and we got out the spumante and the herring, and had that,

I called Middle Brother and talked to him. then I called the Kid. She didn't answer, but then she called back.

We had some more food, and the FWiB called me. We talked awhile.

Then we cleaned up, and got out the ice cream.

And that's where we are now.

New Years Day, and back home

We were up last night til around 4, so everyone slept very late today. I was up first, and set up my computer and just puttered around until everyone else got up.

Then we ate more, and eventually Mandy had to go home.

I hung out with mashfanficchick and zer mother, not really doing anything, til 8 when we had dessert. Then I changed into my clothes and packed up and they brought me home All is well.

I put stuff away and set up the laptop and then fed the pets.

Then I Skyped the FWiB for the first time in days.

Now it's time for bed. Back to work tomorrow.
