Saw Oldest Brother

Talked to the Kid at around 3 this morning, she texted and I called back.

At a more reasonable hour I got up and had breakfast and coffee, then showered and dressed.

Discovered how really much closer and easier to get to the new nursing home is than the old one. But when I got there, they were getting ready to give him a shower, so I couldn't stay long. I guess I could have waited in the lobby, but I didn't know how long it would be and I didn't want to stay. I will go back next weekend.

He looks good, and seemed alert, but not at the level he was before all the health issues.

Anyway, after that I went around the corner to my pharmacy and picked up my prescriptions. Then I came back, and really did very little for the rest of the afternoon, though I did put in a Shipt order. mashfanficchick called to discuss plans for this week.

At 7 I ate dinner, and then Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time, I took a break to call Middle Brother at 8:30. He is fine.

Then I got busy and booked my tickets for the Florida trip. I think I spent more than I should have, but I can afford it and I did the best I could. I am going on Feb. !8th and coming back the 24th, I am looking forward to it but nervous about traveling.

Then I fed the pets, and now I'm here.
