Wait at the doctor's
Jan. 23rd, 2024 11:38 pmWoke up this morning and had the meeting with Oldest Brother's team before getting out of bed. It sounds good, they are going to be taking him out of bed more often and trying to prevent any more contraction.

mashfanficchick and ze said ze'd bring a Covid test over at 1 to make sure I was negative after being exposed to C yesterday.
Then I had breakfast and coffee, and then took a shower and washed my hair. And dressed and puttered on the computer til 1.
I took the Covid test, it was negative, as we all really expected, but better safe than sorry. And we went to my doctor's appointment. This was the surgeon.
The appointment was at 2, and I was there well on time. There was an issue with not having a referral and I had to call my PCP's office twice to get approval, but that does not explain the fact that it took until 4:07 to get into the exam room, and another over half an hour to be seen. Yes, it was nearly 5 before I got out of there. But the news is good, I have my annual mammogram, sonogram, and a bone density scan in April. Then I come back in July, if I haven't had my port removed before then. If I do get the approval to have the port removed, I call her and make an appointment for it. Itexted the Kid to tell her and she said good.
Anyway, as I say I finally got out, and we went and got food at Panera. While there I decided since it was so late to cancel my meeting. It would have just been me and M anyway, and I didn't feel like rushing back.
So we did shopping for the evening, Though we first had a conversation with Dani. I also picked up my prescriptions at Rite Aid.
Then we went to Target, and then Starbucks where I got a Dragon Drink. Very tasty.
Then we went to Shop Rite. and Stop and Shop.
Finally they brought me home and I fed the pets and then Skyped the FWiB for a brief time.
And now I'm going to bed. Port flush and seeing the oncologist tomorrow.
