Port flush
Mar. 6th, 2024 10:19 pmGot up at 10 or so and had breakfast and coffee, and worked with uploading things to my pension account. I'm still waiting for an answer to what I upload for EFT documentation. I uploaded my birth certificate, which I almost couldn't find, though it was right where it should have been. Just in an envelope that I wasn't expecting it to be in. And I uploaded a form W-4P. Both of which required converting from .jpg to .PDF. It was all rather labor intensive.
Then I took a shower and dressed. Then I puttered on the computer till 2 when I was picked up by![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick and zer mother and went to lunch at On the Border.
The traffic was awful and we ended up having to rush though lunch, which was a pity as it was delicious and the waiter was really nice. Even rushing I was 19 minutes late to my appointment for the port flush, but they were nice about it.
The port flush went well. They can't take me to my next one in April, so I called the Kid to ask her if she could take me, and tentatively she can.
We were going to go to Target and then Carvel, but the traffic back was just as bad, if not worse, than the traffic out, and we only had time for Carvel before they had to drop me off to get to my D&D game.
I did have time for a brief Skype to the FWiB though, fortunately. That was nice.
The game was very good. We killed an undead creature and I got to strike the final blow on it.
Oldest Brother had the PEG inserted today, no one called me about it but there was information in his mychart account so I know it went OK. I will try to see him tomorrow.
