Used my second wellness day today

I had one of those mornings I just couldn't get up. And I had one wellness day left that I have to use before I retire or lose it cause I won't get paid for it, unlike annual leave. So I took the day as the wellness day and didn't go in.

I accomplished some stuff, I took out four bags of recycling, and walked around the block twice. Also the Kid called and we had a brief conversation. She is going to be able to take me to the doctor on April 17th.

Then at 4, mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up and we went and did some errands. First we went to the drug store, and then we went and ate. I got shrimp from Popeyes. It was surprisingly good. Now I'm starting to get hungry again though.

Anyway, after that they took me to the hospital and I visited Oldest Brother. He actually seemed a little bit better than the other day. I stayed an hour while they listened to the Mets spring training game.

Then we went to the drugstore again, and then after that to Target. I got a card for Middle Brother's birthday. Also while I was there I called Middle Brother. Nothing much going on with him, he's looking forward to Sunday when we're taking him out for his birthday.

Then we went to Shop Rite and I got some Windex. When we got back in the car, we listened to the beginning of the State of the Union address. Biden sounded pretty good, and I liked what he was saying. Fingers crossed...

Came home and briefly Skyped the FWiB. He should have his cough syrup tomorrow.

The third book I ordered for Middle Brother arrived today, and all I have to do now is wrap them.
