Day spent out

I got up a little after 10, and had breakfast and coffee, and then showered, dressed, and went out to my appointment to get my taxes done.

I was very early getting there, so I went to get my face waxed first. That went fast too, I didn't have to wait, so there was still a lot of time before my appointment. I sat in the park and played solitaire on my phone for about 20 minutes, then went 15 minutes early. He took me without waiting.

The results are very good, I have a very nice refund coming to me. So that made me happy.

I got the bus back home, dropped off my tax stuff, and called mashfanficchick who said I should come right over to zer place, and we'd have lunch and say good bye to Mandy.

So I went over, and my good luck at hitting the transit right continued and I got there very quickly. We went out to lunch at a sushi place, which was very nice.

We went back to zer place, and hung for a bit, then Mandy had to leave. After that zer mother drove us to the Kid's place where I brought her package that was delivered right after she left in, and checked on Carmina and the snake.

Then we went to Starbucks and had drinks. I have become a big fan if the lavender stuff.

Then we did a lot of shopping... BJs, Shop Rite, and target. I bought a few things.

Then they brought me home. mashfanficchick borrowed my printer, and printed some things for zer mother while I Skyped the FWiB.

And now since it is after midnight, it is my birthday and I am 62 years old.

Low key birthday

It was a nice day, but not very exciting. I got up somewhat after 10 and had breakfast and coffee. I called mashfanficchick who said ze'd pick me up between 2 and 2:30. So I did some paperwork, rescheduling a doctor's appointment, and scheduling my mammogram.

Then I showered and dressed, and played solitaire til it was time for them to pick me up. We went to the drugstore and I picked up a prescription, and then we went to a small restaurant called Thai Pot and had lunch. I had pork pad Thai, and dumplings for an appetizer, and it was delicious.

Then we did a few errand type things. The Kid called me and wished me happy birthday, and we talked awhile.

Then we went to Target. At Target ze did some shopping, and I got socks, and stuff to prepare an Easter basket for Middle Brother. That took us a longer time than you might think, but it was fun.

Then we went to Starbucks where I got my free birthday drink, and we hung out for awhile.

They brought me home in time for my Al-anon meeting, which was pretty good, though S didn't come, I hope he's OK.

After the meeting I Skyped the FWiB and we talked for an hour. Then I fed the pets, and had the Carvel left over from last Wednesday, to celebrated my birthday.

And that was my birthday.
