Things are looking up

Didn't sleep as late as usual. Got up for breakfast and coffee.

mashfanficchick and zer mother got the car back today, and ze faxed my paperwork so that's taken car of.

I showered and dressed in the hopes they would be able to take me to my meeting tonight but zer mother was feeling pretty sick and didn't want to leave the apartment after they got back from getting the car.

I sent a ticket in to HR to get some answers to my questions about COBRA. No response yet, I'll have to wait til Monday I guess. I also made an appointment for my blood tests for my PCP.

I am going to make a concerted effort to get to my meeting tomorrow, I'm going to Uber over and hope I can get a ride home. If I can't, I Uber home. I need to get out of this apartment. The only problem I foresee with getting to and fro is getting the folding chair down the steps, and back up when I come home. But I have a plan that should work.

Anyway, I Skyped the FWiB, though it was after 8. But we stayed on an hour and a half. So by the time we finished it was almost pet feeding time and dinner for me.

Then just when I sat down to start writing here, the Kid called me. She was worried I didn't get in touch yesterday. So we had a nice talk.

And that's about all.
