Did stuff today

I managed to get to my Al-anon meeting in Bowne Park today. I navigated the steps with my purse and the folding chair on my crutches with no problem. I Ubered to the park.

The meeting was very good. Afterward I got a ride to the diner where I had a bagel with lox and cream cheese, which was delicious. had a lovely time with everyone. Then I Ubered home, which was expensive but I'm glad I went. I needed human contact!

Got home and went to the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat. Got to see about half of the pilot episode, and all of Sweet Revenge, the last episode. Then chatted for several hours. It was a lot of fun.

Texted mashfanficchick about the possibility of them taking me to the nursing home tomorrow. We'll see how zer mother feels tomorrow. She's still sick. But I have to go in any case, I have a letter from John to read to him.

Puttered online and continued my discussion of God with Martin54 from ship-of-fools. It's interesting and making me think.

Got another text from mashfanficchick about next Saturday, it's the grand re-opening of Five Pennies Creamery, now relocated to Beacon NY. Road Trip!

A bit after 8 I Skyped the FWiB. We talked for about an hour and a half. and then I caught up online and then fed the cat and had my dinner. I haven't fed the turtle yet because she's still sitting on her turtle dock. Aquatic turtles have to be fed in the water; I don't know if i should push her in and feed her or leave her alone and wait a day. She can easily go more than a day without eating. Decisions. decisions.

Anyway, that's all. Going to go to bed now and maybe read.
