Borrowed laptop again

Spending the night at mashfanficchick's place again and borrowing zer laptop.

Went to the podiatrist today and the news was not good. Apparently the break has not been healing. he said after 90 days my insurance would pay for a bone stimulating device, but not until then. If that doesn't work, then surgery. This is disturbing. mashfanficchick said I should get a second opinion, and I'm going to ask my pcp for a referral when I'm there Tuesday.

After that we went to Starbucks and hung out for several hours, then went to Target where I got a calcium and vitamin D suppliment. We'll see if that helps.

After that we came back here and just made it on time for the new 911 episode. There were some odd things going on, all-in-all it was a pretty good episode though. I called Middle Brother at 8:30, he's fine, nothing new.

After the episode, I Skyped the FWiB on my phone and then we had dinner.

We watched the John Oliver episode about library censorship and then had dessert. The John Oliver was pretty scary but nothing I didn't basically know. They mentioned the library where Herschel lives, and afterward I dropped him a Facebook message, no answer yet.

And that was the day.

Shredding event

Woke up this morning very early for the bathroom and couldn't get back to sleep for a long time, though I finally did for a little while. So I'm pretty tired now.

We went out at a bit before 12 to go to the AARP shredding event. We took mashfanficchick's shredding and most of mine. We almost missed it but we got everything dropped off in time. That got several large bags of shredding out of my living room.

Then we went to the Bronx, and ate at Olive Garden. Very nice.

After that we hung out in Starbucks for several hours, and then they took me to my Al-anon meeting.

The meeting was very good, though small. After that they toom me home, with a stop at Target first though I stayed in the car.

Got home and fed the pets and Skyped the FWiB. Meanwhile mashfanficchick brought over the stuff I had brought to zer apartment.

Got a text from the Kid, though nothing of interest.

And now I'm going to go to bed.
