Overslept

I set my alarm for 9 this morning. At 9 I turned off the alarm, rolled over, and fell back asleep til 10:30. I got up as fast as I could, ate breakfast and had coffee, showered and dressed, and called an Uber. Made it to my Al-anon meeting by 11:30, which I am proud of. I wasn't even the latest person, either.

So the meeting was very good, and afterward I went to the diner with a couple of people. We had a nice time, the conversation was largely about cats.

I got a ride home, which was very nice, not having to pay for an Uber. Then went to the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat. I saw about half of the episode, The Vampire. Then we chatted until 7:00. It was a small group but fun.

At 7 we got off, and I read online, and then Skyped the FWiB. All is well with him, and we had a good time.

After that I went to the bedroom and played solitaire, and scrolled Facebook til pet feeding time. Fed the pets, and here I am.

So it was a nice day all around.

Tomorrow is Mother's Day. I am not going to see the Kid, we are saving Mother's Day for when my foot is better and we can go to the Botanical Gardens, but she is supposed to call me and that will be nice.
