Doctor visit

mashfanficchick and zer mother. We went to California Pizza Kitchen for lunch. but they took so long getting our food to us that we had to take it to go, and they took me to my doctor's appointment.
The appointment was at 2:00. At somewhat after 3:00 I got taken in to the exam room, and then waited there too. Finally I got seen. All is well, and I come back in six months unless the oncologist says to take out the port, in which case I call and arrange that.
So I finally got out of the doctor's office, and got to eat my, now very cold, wild mushroom pizza, and Thai crunch salad. Tasty at least.
We went to Starbucks and hung out there. I gave in to temptation and got a double chocolate brownie as well as a drink.
At a little after 7:00 they brought me home, and there was just a few minutes before my meeting for a quick Skype to the FWiB. Then I had my meeting, which was just me and M.
After the meeting I Skyped the FWiB again. We had a very good time.
Then we finished and I fed the pets. Now I'll do this and then go read some more. I finished Clouds of Witnesses yesterday, and, not having the next Wimsey book, I started reading The Clairvoyant Countess by Charlotte Gillman. However, what I will do tonight is upload the new Lois McMaster Bujold Penric and Desdemonia novella, Penric and the Bandit, which has just become available at Barnes and Noble, to my Nook and read that.

Edited to add: Texted the Kid, she had her second interview today and it went very well, so FINGERS CROSSED everyone!
