Last night, as I said I was going to, I downloaded and read Penric and the Bandit. It is as good as all of them, which is very good indeed. My Nook was running out of battery the whole time, by a miracle I had just enough to finish it. I ended up with 3% battery.
I got up reasonably on time today, had breakfast and coffee, and puttered on the computer. Then I went and read in the bedroom. I finished The Clairvoyant Countess, and I started my next book. I looked through my TBR books, and settled on The Girl On The Train, which I picked up at a Little Free Library because I ha been meaning to read it for years.
I was hoping to get to Carvel today, but it was not to be. However in preparation for the possibility I took a shower and washed my hair, which needed it.
At 7 I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time, and then I went to my D&D game at 8.
We had a good time role playing, no action. but it was fun.
I fed the pets and now am going to go and read more of The Girl On The Train.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. My D&D group.
3. Cooler today.
4. Good books.
5. Clean hair.
6. Fudgesicles.
