Meeting night in the Bronx

I got up much earlier than usual today, before 10. Got out of bed around 10, then had breakfast and coffee.

I puttered online, and then did my daily cleaning. I cleaned the top of the toilet, put some things away, threw some things out, and washed it off.

But I realized I need more storage space in the bathroom. So I got online again and looked around, and ordered an etagere from *gulp* Walmart. Is that better or worse than Amazon, morally speaking? Anyway I did it. It should be delivered by the 5th.

After that I did nothing but putter online and email the FWiB and text with mashfanficchick, who is still in Ohio, and will be for quite some time due to circumstances beyond anyone's control.

Finally at 4 I went and showered and dressed, and at 5:15 I went into the Bronx for my Al-anon meeting. I had pizza for dinner first.

The meeting was unusually small, because of Labor Day weekend I expect, but it was good. M drove me to the bus stop.

I came home, and Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice, though short, talk.

Then I fed the pets and started here.

Tonight I really must work on reading City of Illusions, I didn't get any done last night because I was texting mashfanficchick about things.
