Saw Oldest Brother again today

Got up around 11:30 and had breakfast and coffee. Then I showered and washed my hair and dressed, and headed to the nursing home.

Oldest Brother seemed very good. Alert, once he woke up (He was asleep when I got there), responsive, and aware. He didn't want me to read to him though. I did bring my Nook, but he said no. I stayed for a little over an hour, the problem is I run out of things to say and tell him.

While I was there I texted mashfanficchick to see what was going on. All is well.

I walked home, and on the way stopped in at the corner store to get milk. But they don't carry milk any more apparently. They used to, I have gotten milk there. Oh well. I went to the corner grocery on the opposite corner, and got milk there, though they didn't have 2%, I had to get 1%.

Anyway, I came home, and called the Kid, and she answered and we had a nice conversation.

Then I did my cleaning for the day, a good bit of the bedroom next to my bed. I filled up a bag with trash and some pairs of shoes that were no good any more, and I took that out to the garbage. Then I walked around the block for extra exercise.

I puttered online from a bit after 6 to 7 when I Skyped the FWiB.

Then at 8 I did my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. Neither M nor S were there, I heard from S, he has company, but I hope M is OK. There were three people who dropped in, and it was a very good meeting.

After that I had dinner, and then went into the bedroom to read until pet feeding time. I'm still working on Lord Peter Views the Body.
