Doing mostly nothing

I got up around 11:30 and had breakfast and coffee. I puttered online, and really didn't do much of anything until I put in a Shipt order.

I puttered around til it came, and I put it away. Then I did what I said I would do yesterday, which was empty three buckets of water from the turtle tank and replace tham with four clean ones. I'll do it again tomorrow, because the water is still dirty.

The other thing I did today was clean off the bookshelf near the turtle tank. Took a lot of garbage that I had let accumulate there, and a whole load of papers, mostly takeout menus. That and the turtle tank were my cleaning for the day.

I made a decision I'd been thinking over for some time, and paid $125 to register for a Zoom lecture by Paum Michael Glaser on the 15th. I can afford it, and I just wanted to do it. That's Starsky, for those who don't know, but he lectures on grief and recovery and living and suchlike.

At 7 I Skyped the FWiB, and we talked for about an hour and a quarter. Then at 8:30 I called Middle Brother. He hasn't done anything much but tomorrow he's getting a haircut.

Then I had dinner, and went and lay down and read from In the Teeth of the Evidence, the Dorothy Sayers I'm working on. Only two stories are Lord Peter Wimsey's, though.

Then it was pet feeding time and here I am.
