Paul Michael Glaser Zoom
So today was the day of the Zoom lecture by Paul Michael Glaser that I paid $125 for.
I got up around 11, had breakfast and coffee, and puttered online. I changed into a tee shirt and shorts out of my nightgown, but didn't bother showering.
I killed time by doing a little work around the apartment, moving some stuff to a better place, and like that. Got rid of two very old phone books too. I also got out my external hard drive and saved my most recent fics to it.
Then finally it was time for the event. Paul had some issues with his WiFi so it started late, but they let us in to the Zoom room on time so that was OK. He was very interesting, and soothing. I don't know if I got anything out of it that I couldn't have gotten from my Al-anon meetings, and I'm not so sure I agree with everything he said, but I'm glad I went anyway. It was interesting how he has this group of devotees who come to all his lectures (at that price!) though. Mostly women but there were one or two men. There was a group of about 40 in the Zoom.
Anyway, that went longer than I expected, partly though because as I said it started late. When we ended, I put in a Shipt order. Then as usual at a bit after 7 I Skyped the FWiB.
We talked til 8:30, when I called Middle Brother. He's fine, got his hair cut yesterday. He likes the way it looks, so that's good.
Then the FWiB and I talked a little longer, and then got off. I had dinner, and went and lay down in the bedroom, playing solitaire.

Just called the Kid, she didn't pick up though.
