Saw Oldest Brother today
Sep. 16th, 2024 10:25 pmI was thinking of going tomorrow and then I realized that I have a foot Xray scheduled for tomorrow. Anyway, today I woke up at 7:30 and was really hungry os I ate breakfast and went back to bed.

mshfanficchick called me about a present for Middle Brother. So I got up then, had coffee, read my internet stuff, and went and showered and dressed.
Walked over to the nursing home, got there by 2:45, and stayed until 4. He was awake when I got there, being taken care of, and he was in bed, not up in the hall, but he looked pretty good and was aware, alert and responsive. He talked a bit more, or tried to.
After I came home I had something to eat. Then for my daily cleaning I emptied out the box of stuff that I had taken from the old medicine cabinet before it was replaced. I put everything away, either in the new cabinet or the etagere. So that's finally done. Then I took two buckets of water out of the turtle tank and replaced them.
Then I puttered around until 6 when I went and lay down and played solitaire and scrolled Facebook, and then at 7 I Skyped the FWiB.
While we were talking the Kid called, so I got to talk to her. Then we finished the Skype at a bit before 8:30.
I had dinner, and then went and lay down and again played solitaire and scrolled Facebook til pet feeding time. I also listened to an astrophysics video that the FWiB sent me.
I fed the pets, and now I'm doing this.
Chris has arranged for a hotel room for us. I just hope he got two beds, or at least a bed and a pull out couch. But I still don't know if he's picking me up here or if I have to go meet him somewhere.
