Lonestar night
Sep. 30th, 2024 11:42 pmGot up a little earlier than usual, around 10ish, and had breakfast and coffee. I puttered online, putting some time and effort into exploring BlueSky. For those on my flist who might have missed my short post earlier today, I'm silver-chipmunk there too, if you would like to follow me.
Anyway, I did a little bit of cleaning, basically just throwing out some stuff cluttering the shelf tops of the bookcase opposite the couch.
The Kid texted, and I was having a conversation by text with her when she decided to call instead, so that was nice.
Finally at 2:30 I went and showered and washed my hair. Then I dressed, and left to go to![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick's place.
I made it in good time but ze was faster and we met in Starbucks. From there we went to Bareburger, walking most of the way but taking the 60 bus for part. We got food to take out, and went back to her place, again by a combination of walking and bus.
Ze had not had time to watch last week's Lonestar yet, so we watched that first. It was nice to watch it again with zer. We finished that with six minutes to spare before the new episode.
That was very good, and we enjoyed it. No spoilers, but it was exciting.
Then ze puttered around picking out outfits for Rosh Hashanah and packing and we talked and that was nice. Eventually though it got late and I took an Uber home.
Got here a bit before 11. Fed the pets, and then Skyped the FWiB, but only for about 20 minutes because it was so late.
Now going to go to bed.
