Saw Oldest Brother today
Oct. 1st, 2024 10:55 pmSlept late after being up til 3 last night. Got up around 11:30 and had breakfast and coffee.
Puttered around online, then took a shower and dressed, and went to see Oldest Brother in the nursing home. He was awake and happy to see me. I stayed for a little over an hour, and it was nice.
Came home, rested a bit, and then took out some junk from the kitchen as my cleaning for the day. A carton of old cat food cans that date from when I lived in Whitestone and was feeding canned food to Fluffy. I always meant to either give it away or use it, but I never got around to it, and it must be years out of date by now so I took the cans out of the carton, put them in a garbage bag and took them out. Then I walked around the block as usual.
I puttered online some more, than went and lay down and played solitaire for awhile, then I sort of drifted off to sleep.
I got up just in time to Skype the FWiB at 7. We talked til 8, then I had my Al-anon meeting which was small but good.
Then I had dinner, and went and lay down again, and texted with people,![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick about what was going on, and the Kid about the VP debate, which she was watching and I did not.
Anyway, things are OK, and I came out late for pet feeding, and fed the pets.
