Shopping and D&D

Text messages this morning from mashfanficchick when I woke up. I made plans to meet zer at the big Target on Queens Blvd. So I had breakfast and coffee, showered and dressed, and headed off.

Took the bus to Flushing, took the 7 train to 74th St, took the M to Newtown and found out from zer which way to go. We met at the mall, no problem.

Did our shopping in Target, I got some deodorant that I forgot to order the last time I did a Shipt order.

Then we went to Chipotle for lunch, and after that, we went to Cold Stone creamery, While ze was trying to decide if ze was going to get anything, I ordered a small mint with chocolate chips. Very good.

We went our separate ways then, I came home. The 7 train was very crowded, and a black guy was racist ranting about an Asian guy. It was uncomfortable.

Finally got home. Puttered online for awhile, then went and lay down and played solitaire. I called the Kid and had a nice conversation with her.

At 7 I Skyped the FWiB and we had a nice time til 8 when I went to my D&D game.

The DM for the major game we're playing couldn't make it so we did the other, basic original D&D game, the Caves of Chaos. We killed giant spiders and goblins.

After that it was pet feeding time and I fed the pets. I did a little bit of cleaning, not much but enough to keep up my streak (though I will admit I didn't clean during SHarecon).

And now I'll go to bed and read I think.
