Saw Oldest Brother
Nov. 14th, 2024 11:37 pmGot up around 12 after having been awake for awhile. Had breakfast and coffee, and then showered and dressed. Went to see Oldest Brother.
He was about as well as ever. While I was there the nurse spoke to me, they are going to see if it's possible to take out the tube in his gall bladder. He goes for a scan on the 22nd, and if his bile duct isn't blocked, they'll remove the tube. So that's good. While I was there I read him the letter from John and played the Jean Shepard broadcast, which he enjoyed. They had me look through the boxes of his belongings that came from the old nursing homme, and take out any that we wanted to keep. I brought home the hat the Kid made him, the dvds that we got him, and cards and things.
I stayed somewhat over an hour I think then came home. I puttered around doing not much until 6. I texted the Kid, she said she was busy. I asked her to call when she was free, she hasn't called yet.

mashfanficchick's place and got there pretty quickly. We had dinner, of chicken and mashed potatoes, and then watched 911. I called Middle Brother at 8:30 as usual, he is looking forward to Thanksgiving.
Afterward we had gluten free donuts for dessert, and I Ubered home after charging my phone for awhile.
I Skyped the FWiB for a brief while, and then started here. Now it's time for bed.
