Saw Oldest Brother

Got up late, had breakfast and coffee, then showered and dressed and went to the hospital by Uber. I had to cancel my first driver, it was weird, every time the map showed he was getting close, he made a turn and went another way, even farther away. When it got to the point that he was supposedly 12 minutes away I cancelled and got another driver who showed up in 3 minutes.

Anyway, eventually I got to the hospital. He's in ICU, drugged because of the ventilator. I don't think he was really awake, though hi eyes were open. But I talked to him as though he could hear me. The Kid called while I was there, and I was able to tell her how he was, and relay her love.

I got to talk to the doctor while I was there. He said he's in septic shock. He has several kinds of bacteria in his blood, urine, and sputum. The infection may have started in his kidneys, or in the gallbladder tube. They are having surgery look him over because of the gallbladder tube. He had a fever this morning of 104, but by the time I left it was down to normal so that's a good thing.

I took the bus home, and puttered around on the computer until 7 when I Skyped the FWiB. My psychiatrist called, and I got my drugs refilled.

Then at 8 I went to my D&D game. We didn't play the game we played last week cause one person couldn't make it, so we played the other game. We went back to the haunted house, and nearly got killed but we had a good time killing goblins and a giant cobra.

After that I fed the pets and had dinner. And now I'm doing this.

I was supposed to get a delivery of turtle food from Petco today. It hasn't come yet.
