More on Oldest Brother
Nov. 22nd, 2024 10:44 pmI got up at 9 and had breakfast and coffee. At 10:40 my therapist called and we had a session.
After that I showered and dressed and Ubered over to see Oldest Brother. I didn't talk to a doctor today, but I did speak to his nurse, who filled me in as well as a doctor could have, and gave me the phone number for the ICU so I can call and get info. He's still on the ventilator, they tried to take him off but it didn't work out. They will try again tomorrow morning. They did an EEG which puzzled me but it was to see if he was having any kind of seizures, which apparently he wasn't. I texted the Kid.

mashfanficchick but we cancelled cause ze needed to sleep after being gotten up at wee hours of the morning to deal with issues relating to zer mother. So I went to the Duane Reade and got my scrips filled from the psychiatrist session Wednesday plus my cholesterol medication which is almost out. That took a bit of time, and then I took the bus home.
I puttered online for a bit, then took a nap. I set my phone alarm for 5:05, meaning to leave as usual at 5:15 but managed to turn off the alarm so I overslept. Still managed to make it on time for my meeting in the Bronx, just making a bus. Had pizza first. The meeting was a bit small but good, and M gave me a ride to the bus stop and let me wait in his car because of the rain.
I came home and Skyped the FWiB. Then I fed the pets, and started here.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Oldest Brother is slowly getting better.
3. Got my scrips filled.
4. My umbrella.
5. My meetings and the people in them.
6. Bed soon.
