I didn't set an alarm today, meaning to sleep late after yesterdays exertions, but woke up at 10 anyway so I got up around 11.
I had breakfast and coffee, and then I puttered around. The big things I did were, I mopped the living room floor with Pine Sol (locking Oreo in the bedroom til it dried of course) and set up the Christmas tree. I put three decorations on it, the little red engine I got at the Botanical Gardens, the plushie heart that says Self Love Club on it, that L gave us all at the diner, and the penguin stuffie I got at Target with
mashfanficchick the last time we were there. Everything else will have to wait til another day. Maybe I'll start tomorrow.
I called the Kid to find out if she could take me to my doctor's appointment on the 20th but she has plans. But we had a ni8ce conversation anyway.
I also called
mashfanficchick and we talked a bit.
I also did some Christmas shopping. The big thing there is, I FOUND THE CLANCY BROTHERS CD MIDDLE BROTHER WANTS! It's The Boys Won't Leave the Girls Alone, it was put out in 1993 as a CD and doesn't seem to be in print any more, but I found a second hand copy described as "mint" condition. I have been Google searching things for days to find it. And it wasn't even that expensive.
I also made up my Christmas list so I would know what I had and still needed. And I started a list of who would get the 10 Jorts the cat holiday cards I ordered, when they get here. I also contacted the printers to ask if there was anything wrong that they hadn't shipped yet.
Finally it was 7 and I Skyped the FWiB til 8 when it was D&D (or actually Pathfinder) time. We had a random encounter with at tidewretch, and at the end finally met our other new character (old player, just a new character). The real adventure starts next week.
Then I fed the pets and had dinner myself.
mashfanficchick had me call zer and we are getting together tomorrow, so that's good.
Now it's time for bed.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. The Kid.
3.

4. My D&D group.
5. Found a place to get that CD.
6. Got the tree up with no issues.
