Did little today

Got up an hour later than I intended, ate breakfast, had coffee, showered and dressed, then headed out to the nursing home. It was raining, not heavily, but drearily.
He was still on the oxygen through the nasal cannula. The nurse came in and spoke to me, he's on medication for oral thrush, and water pills for water retention. But he seemed more aware and alert than last week, which is good. I read him John's letter, and stayed about an hour.

mashfanficchick because we had been planning to go out, but ze was tired, and the weather was still bad so we cancelled.
I came home, and basically did nothing for the rest of the day. I did manage a little online shopping, and I made a shopping list for tomorrow, but that's about all. I called the Kid and we talked a little but she was busy so only a bit.
Then at 7 as usual I Skyped the FWiB. We talked about an hour and 20 minutes, and had a good time.
Then I had dinner, and puttered on my phone til pet feeding time. And now the pets are fed and I'm doing this.
Tomorrow my shopping trip to BJ's, Target and that area.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
