Saw Oldest Brother
Jan. 22nd, 2025 10:42 pmGot up this morning right around 10. Had breakfast and coffee, showered and dressed. My turtle food was delivered right after I stepped out of the shower, so I had to wrap a towel around myself to buzz the delivery guy into the lobby. I picked up the package when I was dressed of course. Then I went to see Oldest Brother.
When I got there they were doing something with him so I had to wait while they finished, but then I went and visited. He was pretty good, the thrush is still gone, and he didn't seem to be congested and he didn't cough. Mentally he seems about the same. WE had a nice visit. I texted the Kid and she responded so that's good.
After I left I went to the post office to pick up a certified letter, which wasn't important and I don't know why they send it certified. That didn't take long happily.
Came home and spent most of the rest of the day doing not much of anything. I did clean the cat pan. And I played a game of Bookworm. Chris texted me about his surgery tomorrow. I'm going to meet him around 10:30ish and then afterward we;ll have brunch.
At 7 I Skyped the FWiB and we had a nice time, until 8 when I went to my D&D game. This session was largely devoted to figuring out Roll20. But we finally got playing and it was fun.

mashfanficchick but ze doesn't know yet if ze is going home tomorrow or Friday.
Petco has included something extra with my order, a flea and tick collar for cats. I assume it was sent accidentally but I can't see myself trying to get it back to them. Oreo doesn't need it, being entirely inside. Maybe RK knows someone who could use it.
Anyway, that was the day, nothing too exciting.
