Got up at 10:00 and had a therapy appointment by phone. That went well. I had breakfast and coffee, and then showered and dressed, and went to visit Oldest Brother in the nursing home.
He is in pretty good shape except that he sounds pretty congested. I mentioned it to them and they nebulized him, which I gather he is supposed to be getting. I stayed for a little over an hour.
Came home, and called the tax preparer and made an appointment to get my taxes done on March 24th. So that's taken care of. Then I looked and found the thing the eye doctor at Target gave me with the referral to the eye surgeon, and I called them and asked if they take my insurance. They do! So I took the plunge and made an appointment to see the surgeon on April 21st.
Then I took a look at my calendar and realized that's the day I'm coming back from Ohio. So I called back and rescheduled for April 24th. It's going to be some week: back from Ohio on the 21st, an appointment with my PCP on the 22nd, my mammogram on the 23rd, and the eye surgeon on the 24th. Wow.
Anyway, after scheduling that, I played some solitaire, and then went into the bedroom and tried unsuccessfully to nap for an hour. I got up at 5:00 and got ready to go to my Al-anon meeting in the Bronx.
I had my usual pizza first and then went to the meeting. M was talking to some people, there's an issue with use of the room. L will look into it tomorrow.
The meeting was very good, though small, though we did have a new person. Afterward, k drove me to the bus stop. I made the bus by the absolute skin of my teeth, but I made it.
Came home and Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice talk, and then it was pet feeding time. I fed the pets, and now here I am.
