More Christmas cards, and Post Office
Dec. 2nd, 2025 10:15 pmGot up around 10:30 texting to the Kid. All is well.
Had breakfast and coffee, and the second-to-last slice of the Kid's tarte. Middle Brother's Star Wars calendar was delivered, and I collected that with the mail.
Last night Denise emailed me the list of addresses I asked her for, so after breakfast I started writing them out. I used up all my stamps, before I finished, and I really wanted to get them all in the mail, so I bit the bullet, and got ready to go out in the cold and rain.
I showered and dressed, with my rainboots. Then I took the umbrella, put on my jacket and hat and headed out. Yuck.
Slogged through the rain and took the 44, which was very crowded, to the post office. Bought a book of stamps, stamped the ones that didn't have stamps yet, and mailed the batch.
Then I slogged through the rain again, and took the 44, this one almost empty, home again.
Got in wet and bedraggled and had eggnog.
The one address I asked her for that Denise didn't have was Cliff, but it suddenly occurred to me I could get his address through anywho, the same way I got Barbara F's. So I looked him up and made out a card for him that I have to mail tomorrow.
Now I have only four cards to make out, two I'm waiting to hear from the people what their adress is, an two I'm waiting til they send me a card. So I'm done for now.

mashfanficchick and made plans for tomorrow.
My turtle food replacement order was delivered, so I don't have to worry about getting more. Christie is eating normally, thank heavens.
I went into the bedroom and lay down and played solitaire for awhile. Then I came out and tried to get the computer going to Team the FWiB. I was not successful. There were serious technical issues, and we ultimately had to Team on my phone.
This made me worry about Zooming my Al-anon meeting. But that worked out fine, no problem, go figure.
Then I had dinner, and went to the bedroom again until pet feeding time.
While I was writing here, I Teamed the FWiB again, and we talked for a few minutes.
