It's still hot

I slept very late, woke up at 12:00ish but didn't get out of bed til 1:00ish. Then I had breakfast and coffee, and puttered on line.

The FWiB was quite overdue in emailing me and I got worried, when he finally did get in touch I had him call me to discuss things. All is well now.

Then I took a shower and washed my hair, and dressed. By then it was 4:00ish. I called my oncologist and left a message that I'd gotten the approval letter for the test she wants me to have. I think it's a genetic test, which would mean the results would affect the Kid as well.

At 5:00 I went in to the Bronx for my Al-anon meeting. I had my customary pizza first. The meeting was very good, six people. During the meeting it rained and thundered but it had stopped by the time it was over.

The 50 bus was on time heading back, and a 61 came almost immediately after I got to the stop, so I made it home very quickly. Teamed the FWiB for an hour, then got off and started here.

It is very humid, and fairly warm. I look forward to getting into the air conditioning in the bedroom.
