Celebrating Oldest Brother's birthday

silver_chipmunkGot up and had breakfast and puttered around for awhile. The Kid and SIL picked me up and we drove out to Bellmore to Applebee's where we met Oldest Brother. Then we were joined by John and Brianne and Aunt Helen. Denise has pinkeye so she couldn't come. We had a lovely lunch. The big surprise was that apparently all the cousins got together and agreed to pay for Oldest Brother to go upstate for a vacation. Lovely of them! So we'll see how that plays out this summer.
Then after they drove me home again, and stayed for a bit, and we took a nice walk.
And then I watched the episode of Cosmos I missed last week on-line, and watched the new episode on TV and now I'm going to bed to read.
