Going to bed eary

Tired, and I have to get up early. Have to go into Manhattan for a book committee meeting.

Today was a little disappointing, didn't get to the fair with The Kid after all. Bummer.

Oldest Brother got his will taken care of though thanks to mashfanficchick and her mother and father and his law partner. So that's a Good Thing.

And that's about all there is to say today. Work was OK, nothing special. Rain this morning was awful.

1. I wore boots, not my flats.

I have to say, I was VERY glad that by the time we had to go meet your Oldest Bro, the rain had gone from a full storm into more of an annoying drizzle.

Can I ask, why didn't you guys make it to the fair? Both because I need to call The Kid, and don't want to bother her if she's sick or busy or something, and because if it's not something with the fair itself, I want to tell you that I might be able to join you tomorrow night or Saturday afternoon, if you want (since I know The Kid won't be around).
