So not much happened today.

Work was work, and not much to say about it.

The real estate agent said the landlord from Thursday wanted to talk to me, because she was considering my request to take the cost of the cleaning off the rent, but she never called.

I spent the day trying to get through to the FWiB, finally did, he said the phone hadn't been working but I don't know if it's true or not. He seemed mostly sober, which was good.

Spent a little time cleaning the apartment, tomorrow I have to really work at it.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Umbrellas.

3. The weather cleared up.

4. Taro slush on the way home from the bubble tea place.

5. Day off tomorrow.

don't know about in the US, but here if a tenant redecorates an apartment that was left in a mess owner gives them up to 1 month free rent could you maybe use that as a negotiation point if the appart suits you. Do you have fixed duration leases? Maybe if you took this apartment that you said was 'acceptable'until you find something that really suits you?

She was supposed to call me to talk about it and she never did. I think she;s decided that it's too much trouble to meet my requests and she's going to find some idiot to take it as is.
