A day at home

Did stuff around the house today. Took my laundry down to the laundromat, did some shopping at the discount store, took out garbage, unpacked a box, stuff like that.

Called the FWiB, I am very worried.  His wife is going to kick him out and he has nowhere to go.  He can't come here unless he's clean and sober. I won't have him. I don't know what he'll do.  He thinks one of his college friends will take him in. I don't know.

Stick to your guns. I've known too many people who give in, and later live to regret it. Maybe this will be his "rock bottom" that some addicts/alcoholics need to get to before the rehab/counseling sticks.

Do you not have a laundry in your facility? I've never heard of that. Then again, I've only lived in an apt twice - the first being 30 years ago, and each section of each building had laundry facilities. Here they're "en suite".

I am back at work,  I only took the day of the move off. That's why unpacking is slow. 

There isn't a laundry room that I can find, and I'd rather have it done for me anyway.

Yeah, I know better than to let an active alcoholic come and live with me.  Been there,  done that.  I hope this might be his bottom but I don't know. ..
