In a hurry!

Had a long conversation with The Kid on the phone, that's why I'm so late. Work was OK. Nothing special. Then had a very good meeting in the evening. Now bed.

Oy what a day

Started with a frantic call from The Kid at 1:20 that the only working toilet in the cottage was plugged and plunging wasn't helping. I told her to call Aunt H and see about a plumber.

The long and the short of it, I ended up having to pay for the plumber and am now broke til Friday. I am supposed to get the money back though.

Work was depressing. And I was 50 minutes late because of arranging the paying of the plumber.

But then the day was over and I met up with mashfanficchick and her mother and went to Starbucks and then Target and BJs. Ended up at Carvel. Carvel makes the day all right.
