Got my shot today
Got up, had breakfast and coffee, and showered and dressed. Didin't sleep too well last night because of the steroids in the chemo.
mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up a little early so we got to the doctors a little early. The shot was uneventful.
Then we went to a Verizon store so
mashfanficchick could get zer new phone set up, and after that we went to Barnes and Noble. We had a snack there, and then we wandered around the store. I bought a book of course. Be awhile before I can get to reading it though. The Kid called while I was there to tell me that my fitbit had been delivered.
After that we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, which I paid for as a celebration of completing half my first round of chemo.
Then we went to Carvel for the first time in a long time. Got my usual two sundaes for the price of one. Then they brought me home and sure enough my fitbit was here.
I briefly Skyped the FWiB. All well there.
Then I started fiddling with the fitbit. I have it charging now, I think I know basically how to work it. I discovered that it wasn't compatible with my phone so I had to download the app on this computer. I prefer that anyway I think.
Called Oldest Brother three times as usual today.
My hair is going faster, but you still can't really tell.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. The Kid.
3. My friends.
4. No worse side effects of my chemo than losing my hair.
5. My new fitbit.
6. Ice cream.
