Very satisfactory day

Started out by visiting Oldest Brother in the nursing home. I got up, had breakfast, showered, dressed, and headed over. He looks pretty good, though he has lost ground in speaking. I stayed for about an hour.

Came home and spent the next several hours doing not much of anything, except cleaning the cat pan. Then I started reading the zines I brought home from SHarecon. I finished the first one, and have started a second.

Finally I got up and got on the computer. I ordered a refill of one of my prescriptions.

Then I got on ebay, looking at something I've been looking at for quite some time now. Someone had a listing for the Boys in Blue zine, the one I had a story in. My copy was lost when I moved from the apartment in College Point and left almost everything behind. And I have decided I want a new copy of it. It was $60 though. I bargained down to $50, I could have gone further I think but I didn't want to press it. So with tax and shipping I paid $57 I think. More than it's worth no doubt, but, well...

Anyway, that should be arriving by November 10th. So It's done.

At around 6:15 I started Skyping the FWiB. We had a nice time.

Then mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up arounf 7:40 and we went to Buffalo Wild Wings. The service was very slow because they were crowded and they never have enough servers. So it was pretty late when we got out.

I called middle Brother at 8:30 from there. He got his Halloween costume yesterday, he's going to be a Ninja Turtle.

After we left the restaurant we went to Target and I spent more than I should have on a few things for Middle Brother for Christmas. something for mashfanficchick's mother for Christmas, some ornaments and a Halloween black cat mug for me. I also got some eggnog, the first I've seen this year, early but I do love it so.

Then we came home and here I am.
