Al-anon evening

Got up at 10 and had a therapy session, then had breakfast and coffee.

Then I puttered online for a long while. I took a shower and got dressed.

Finally I got myself together and did something I should have done before, I fixed the broken decorative birdhouse from the Saturday meeting, which we found last week and which I brought home to fix. I played a game of Bookworm while I was waiting for glue to dry on it.

I got a phone call from the hospital so I now know the time of my surgery on Monday. 9 am.

I texted mashfanficchick and discussed it with zer. The upshot is I'm going to go to Great Neck and stay there with zer at zer father's on Sunday, then we're going to my surgery Monday, afterward zer father will pick us up and take us to zer apartment and I'll spend a day or so there to keep zer company and help out cleaning.

At 5:15 I went into the Bronx to my Al-anon meeting, as usual I got pizza first. M walked into the pizza place, so we sat together while he ate, and then went to Dunkin' Donuts where he bought a half dozen for the meeting, and got me a hot chocolate.

Then we went to the meeting which was just us and L. Afterward L drove me to the bus stop.

I came home and Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice talk for about an hour.

Fed the pets. Texted the Kid about plans. She has just texted back, she says she loves me but needs time. That's OK, I have time.
